In this class, Lisa will provide beautiful ‘Gertrude’s Garden’ templates and show you how to make a myriad of beautiful floral creations with simple stitches, layered shapes, and treasures from Granny’s button box!
Inspired by Gertrude Jekyll, a respected painter and craftswoman of the Victorian Era who was famous for painting beautiful cottage gardens in England.
Gertrude used ‘naivety and charm’ rather than ‘grandeur and formal structure’ an ethos that Slow Stitchers share.
All materials will be provided and a delicious lunch will also be served.
