Spring is around the corner and gardens are just about to bloom!!!..Join Cath, from the Happenstore for a wonderful weekend of fabric making and stitch.The studio will be full of flowers,from which Cath will guide you in drawing.Simple contour outlines will begin the process.
She will show you how to transfer your ideas onto fabric and then paint with various mediums and techniques….you’ll be amazed what will evolve.It is sooo exciting and inspiring!!
On the second day you will work into one of your designs with stitch and colour.This adds a unique dimension as you create a bespoke work of art.Simple stitches will be covered, along with some interesting new ones..cannot wait to see this all evolve!
This is a workshop to inspire and excite, as you discover sooo many possibilities of developing your own designs, through paint, ink and thread.
Everything is provided, including 6, 50x50 linen panels, for you to paint on.Cath also brings a lot of samples..the studio will be humming with sooo much colour and texture.A workshop not to miss!
Both days you will be lovingly fed with an array of cakes for morning tea and then lunch. We cater for vegetarian and gluten free very easily. Please mention when booking any dietary requirements.
