Join Fleur and Zoe to immerse yourself in Fleur's unique stitched painting process.
Inspired by florals, we will spend the first-day painting linen to create a beautiful washy backdrop and learn to create floral designs using simple processes you can use at home too.
We'll also spend time exploring some stitches that are my favourites for florals and look at how to build your own colour palette.
Day two will give you the chance to get stitching your blooms and start to build your floral work and look at ways to add texture and layering with beads or collage elements.
You'll leave with either a small finished artwork or an ongoing project and all the supplies you need to continue the process.
Fleur's teaching is gentle and inspiring. She aims to work with each participant to meet your individual creative goals and will leave you with a plan to continue on if you'd like to attempt a bigger project.
All materials are supplied and included as well as delicious catering and the most beautiful space to create in.

Fleur Woods is a contemporary fibre artist, seeker of joy and lover of nature. Based in rural Aotearoa New Zealand Fleur is back to Green Door Studios after her sell-out workshop series in 2023. Fleur's colourful, joyful and often intricate stitched paintings are celebrated around the world and collected keenly. Sharing her process generously to encourage and support others to create gives Fleur a sense of purpose. Fleur spends her time teaching workshops around NZ & Australia, creating work and kits in her home studio and working on collaborative projects like her Soul Sister designs with Saben and her book, The Untamed Thread, with Koa Press and her offerings with Fibre Arts Take Two.
